This is a story of a girl wanting to be Miss Singapore Universe please enjoy
One bright and sunny day, Lily, a middle-age woman, wishing to be an idol like Miss Singapore Universe but she always fail to be one. She lies in bed and thinks what she would do when she is really Miss Singapore Universe.
The next morning, she looked at the newspaper it says that there will be a Miss Singapore Universe competition on 12/6/1999. She wonders if she joins it she may win so decided to join it. It was 12/6/1999 there were about 3 to 4 people joining in the competition and she was next to go on the Idol stage. She was nervous and wanted to quit but her friends cheer her up. Lily again decided to keep it up because if she gives up she will be sure to lose.
Lily was to next up the stage, she when up to the stage. She wore a beautiful dress and sang a beautiful song too. It was the time of the judge’s marks the first person has 69/100 marks. The second person has 62/100 marks. The third person has 78/100 marks and the fourth was Lily she has 85/100. She was as happy as a puppy. The speaker said “This year’s Miss Singapore Universe is Lily".Labels: Never give up
